What we store

hifumi.dev is a Rails app generator. To run it for you, we keep:

  • Your account email and password hash (via Devise).
  • If you sign in with GitHub: your GitHub user id, login, name, and avatar URL.
  • Your OpenRouter API key, if you provide one (encrypted at rest via Rails encrypts).
  • The projects, chats, and messages you create — needed to render and resume them.

We don't sell or share this data. We don't run analytics or tracking pixels.

Cookies

We ask before storing anything on your device. The banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or decline.

If you accept:

  • A session cookie keeps you signed in.
  • A cookie_consent cookie remembers your choice for a year.

If you decline:

  • You can browse the marketing pages and read this policy.
  • You cannot sign in or create an account — both require a session cookie.

No third-party cookies. No tracking.

Contact form

If you send a message via the contact form, we store your email and message in our database so we can reply. We don't use it for marketing.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your account or a contact message, send a request.
